What fresh food do you provide?

We provide fresh kale, spring greens, cucumber, bell peppers, carrots and fresh herbs.  

Either strawberries, apple, pear or sweetcorn are given as an occasional treat.

What brand of dried food do you use?

We use Burgess Excel Nuggets with Mint, as they're fortified with vitamins & minerals and are high in dietary fibre. They're tolerated by 90% of rabbits & guinea pigs.

My pet is a fussy eater, can I bring my own food?

Absolutely! Please feel free to supply your own food and treats for your beloved pet.

My Rabbit lives indoors but likes to graze outdoors in the day, can this be arranged?

Yes, however, this would require you to hire both an indoor pen and an outdoor enclosure.

Will my pets be housed with others in the same pen?

No, for health & safety reasons, every animal or bonded pair has their own pen at all times.

Do birds get flight time?

Unfortunately not, as this would create an escape risk. Also, the bird will not be familiar with the environment and could get injured.

What substrate do you use for Rabbit & Guinea Pig bedding?

We only use dust extracted, kiln dried, pine wood shavings from sustainable sources. They’re soft and absorbent keeping your animals feeling warm and cosy. These shavings offer natural odour control as well as being biodegradable.

What substrate do you use for Fancy Rats and other caged rodents?

Megazorb is our go-to brand, a highly absorbent bedding that is manufactured from virgin wood pulp, a by-product of the British paper making industry. Megazorb pet bedding is biodegradable and super absorbent. The wood pulp used to make Megazorb is high-temperature dried to kill any mould or spores then dust extracted twice, making it the ideal choice for small animals.

What substrate do you use for a Tortoise?

We use premium quality Hemp bedding which is a soft fibrous substrate that is ideal for many species of tortoises & reptiles as it is safe if ingested. It is made from the dried chopped stem of the Hemp plant to form a highly absorbent, dust free and odourless material.
